Are Effingham Construction Kingspan approved for firestopping?
Effingham Construction is currently progressing through the Kingspan approval process for firestopping systems. We have also commenced our first firestopping project. We will confirm the applicable approval status and the system scope in writing for each project before works begin; we do not represent approval as complete until it has been formally awarded.
Can firestopping works be completed in an occupied residential block?
Yes. Many firestopping programmes are completed in occupied buildings. We plan access, sequencing and protection measures around residents, managing agents and other trades, while keeping the work areas as contained and orderly as practicable.
